Google pays users to do security checkup

To help celebrate Safer Internet Day 2016, for a limited time Google will pay users if they complete a Google account security checkup.

Well, technically Google does not pay users with real money, but with 2GB of free Google drive storage permanently. So what is the catch? Well there is no catch. All you need is a quick and easy security checkup to make sure your Google account is in good shape, and it only takes about one minute or two, literally.

If you did this last year, you know how simple it is to do. And yes, you can do the security checkup again this year even you did it last year, and you will get another free 2GB permanent Google drive bonus space for this year.

If you have not done this before, here is how it works.

1. Go to your Google account Signin & Security page, and click “Get Started” link.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to check and review your account information. When you are done, you will be rewarded with 2GB of free Google drive storage permanently.

Hurry up to your Google account to complete the security checkup and claim your free bonus Google drive storage before this offer goes away.
